Im not a stiff at all, I owe 3 different posters money right now and have been in contact with all 3 of them within the past couple days. I owe Prodigy $100, I owe Gyno $50, and I owe Patsfan1283 $300. I have owed gyno and patsfan since the AFC Championship game which was 2 1/2 weeks ago. And I have owed Prodigy just recently as im picking up $100 of themanej's bet that he lost to prod since I owe $100 to themanej im sending the $100 to prodigy instead to get him paid since themanej hasnt paid prodigy and there bet was white sox vs indians so he has owed him for a longgggggggg time. I just recently lost a bet to themanej with fantasy football so I decided it would be better to just pay prodigy since hes getting fucked over from themanej. So if not being able to come up with the $450 to pay all of them within 18 days makes me a stiff then I guess thats what I am. But prodigy and patsfan are both cool with it I have told them my situation right now as im waiting on a large sum of money and they will be paid very shortly. As for gyno hes trippin over the $50 and I find it hilarious bc it took him what... over a year or so to pay off a $100 debt? So whatever you guys can all have your fun call me a stiff but the money will be paid to all 3 shortly... end of story

So long as the people owed don't care about the wait, I really don't see what the big deal is. Not sure why Jadyn is making this out to be a huge deal.

I will say this, though: I don't think it's right to bash gyno for "trippin" over the $50. Sure, that situation with the $100 before wasn't right, but that doesn't make it OK to give him shit for wanting the $ he's owed. And just because the other two guys are OK with a little delay in payment doesn't mean gyno has to be OK with it too.

At any rate, this story failed to deliver on the hype. Thanks a lot, Jadyn. Cocktease.

Trust me it was no big deal like this thing with 5star isnt. It was a well known poster that took over a month to pay me and bomb but it eventually got settled. We didnt feel he was a stiff and 5star aint.

You can kind of just tell sometimes.

Checked the email correspondence - 3 weeks, 1 of which I was out of town for my brother's wedding, another 1.5 weeks where I moved into my new place that didn't have internet, and a few days just to figure out how to accommodate how 5 star wanted to be paid (something that he looked into but we weren't able to end up working out, although me even offering to accommodate him wanting the $100 is something I didn't even have to ask him). You didn't even contact me directly for most of the time TTP after I had explicitly requested that you and 5 star get in touch. Obviously appears he needed the 100 more than you did but let's get the fact straight
Trying to use our interactions which were much more complex than me just being able to fed ex a check to you guys, using that as leverage in why 5 star hasn't paid in 2.5 weeks is a joke. Don't know what gyno's doing in posting publicly but apparently the respect posters have for each other, yourselves included, is all at face value.

Guess at the end of the day I should be thankful that I can clear $100 relatively quickly now as opposed to some that seem to need it much more. Great. Let's not beat around the bush - if you all had such an issue then the air should have been cleared long ago rather than this somehow being used as leverage for 5 star.

Relax I wasnt calling you out... I was just using it as an example. I was never worried at all that I wouldnt get paid from you. I didnt think you were a stiff at all. I understood you were going thru a transition with your move to SF or whatever. No big deal, and im going thru some shit right now too. Nothing bad just waiting on some money that I should be getting very soon. Prodigy was as cool as can be about this and he told me just get him the $100 by March 1st which I thought was very kind of him. Patsfan I feel the worst about bc when we first made the bet we both said we would pay right away thru paypal.... well I fucked that up figuring I would have my money by now. He will get it though no doubt. And Gyno... well lets just say him calling me out after 2.5 weeks is a disappointment. But I aint sweating it, I understand his frustration not being paid yet.

hahaha nothing alike! Its virtually the same thing! I sold my place to a family member. Hes living there right now. Were still waiting on his loan to go thru. It has been about 60 days or so now. I didnt know it would take this fuckin long to get it approved. I will have more than enough money to take care of this stuff soon....

The examples are nothing alike - My situation had nothing to do with my financial position, it was solely a logistical matter with not actually being able to make any sort of financial transaction (that would have accommodated you, which ended up not working out) for a somewhat prolonged period of time. Yours has to do with not having the funds available to actually pay these people. My only real crime was my being unable to communicate when I was at my brother's wedding.

Regardless, your attempting to use our transaction as an example is bullshit in my mind, even if it was just the mention of a 'well-known poster.'

And despite your situation, you're still betting (and betting 'large' units) online, and having success - which is what prompted Gyno to make a comment to begin with - that's why Gyno made those comments.

TTP - post #4 - forgive me if I view that as critical. Don't know it's cool of him to 'not call me out' for shit that I don't think I can realistically be called out for. I pay my debts and, barring difficult circumstances (such as ours) I pay promptly, and others on here can vouch for that, and for much greater sums of money than $100.

my units in basketball are $20 a unit. And the largest I have bet is 7 units. So just to make that clear its not like im betting $500 a game or something its $140 or so. And I needed to clear a bonus rollover which I just completed the other day. Gyno knew this, I have responded to him via email and have been 100% honest the entire time. So him taking it to the board was b.s. in my opinion. Am I embarrassed I cant come up with an extra $50 to pay him off right away? Absolutely, its $50 haha. It sucks but theres nothing I can do. The only thing I can say is as frustrating as it is for gyno its 10x more for me bc I have been waiting on this money for a LONG time close to 60 days now and it sucks that its taking this long. But for those who have bought a house or sold a house you know how long it can take for a loan to get approved. But Dsethi dont take it the wrong way man I understood your situation at the time and it was no big deal. You were very cooperative the whole time. I didnt even bring up your name I just said a couple posters you werent the only one that took 3-4 weeks whatever it was. I was never worried you wouldnt pay me, I knew you were good for it..... either way once everyone gets paid we will all know the answer to the original question to this thread.
